- We are a Christian, non-profit corporation designed to help orphans in Kitale, Kenya. God spoke to our hearts several years ago and things finally materialized in December of 2008. We help to care for the needs of 42 children. Currently our goal is to raise $1,800 to aqcuire our 501c3. Any donations at this point will go towards that goal unless you specify otherwise.
Hello Everyone. We are beginning our project to earn money to acquire our 501c3. Although this may seem like a small thing to some, it would give us more options to raise money for the children. Attaining our 501c3 status would enable us to apply for grants and also enable any donors to write their donations off as a tax deduction. We are taking donations of $1, $5, $10 or whatever you feel led to give. We hope to attain our 501c3 status by the end of 2009.
ReplyDeleteWe also accept sponsors for the children at this point. We have been offered an orphanage for free and we are trying to raise the money to buy beds, appliances, etc to be able to move into this home. This home would sleep 20 children.
